Gregg Chudacoff, our president, has over 30 years at General Truck Parts. He has expertise in all areas of our business and is actively involved in continuing our growth as an Authorized Spicer Off-Highway Center.


John McNally was hired as general manager of General Truck Parts in September, 2009. John has over 10 years of experience with the company and over 15 years in the truck part industry. In May 2009, John attended trade shows in Dubai and Kuwait looking to continue to grow our international business.


Denis Schroeder is in charge of our location at 40th street. He just completed his 21st year with General Truck Parts and 31st year in the truck part industry. He specializes in TTC/Dana light duty parts.

Steve Larue just completed his 20th year at General Truck Parts and his 32nd year in truck parts. He is our resident expert in Power Steering (25 years) and PTO/Pumps (15 years). His hobbies include bag piping.


Quang Van Tran, our shipping guru, and Dave Sobolewski, our driveshaft/brake specialist, are both approaching their 27th year with the company. Both men are experts in their field.
 

In Memorium   General Truck Parts is sorry to say that we lost our founder, Bob Smith on August 28, 2009 at the young age of 73. A tireless worker who was passionate about his business, Bob was respected by customers, vendors, and employees alike. He was known as the “Yoda” of the truck parts industry. His guiding business philosophy was to treat customers like gold. In 2006, Bob was elected to the UIC Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. Bob was a very generous man who contributed to many charities and organizations. Bob will be missed by all as he touched so many lives.
